i would like to c the ability to train two spells. Have FB and MM get no penalty in ranged rounds but heavy in melee like a bow and if u want a stronger attack in melee train either SG,CoC or Decay so a full mage would have like MM/SG trained or FB/CoC or FB/SG or FB/Decay etc
Its an interesting concept, but a tank out damages a mage normally due to monetary investment, how would such a setup overly benefit a mage by splitting xp?
Also, would you use the same system for AMF or decrease its effects a little to balance?

I'm thinking with a proper spell level balance, it would positively affect teams that are designed to do their primary damage in ranged.
That being said, I don't think it's a good idea at all. Especially when you take into account new players who, upon learning they can train two spells, will of course train both of them.
Along with 4 minions and an ED/EO/Skill on each of them, like they do now.
