The funny thing is... erm... we missed out!

KingElf put everything in the store and it looks like Zenai and GL went to town on it? Some of those things are nice, named rares that went for just a couple thousand bucks!

So not only is KingElf giving away 44 million in a contest, he just gave a big MERRY CHRISTMAS to Zen and GL (er, "Happy" Christmas for GL, that crazy Brit...)

I meandered into the store and saw an 'Amulet' tab. Then the excitement grew! Heightened by two things;

Running out of space on my characters
Running fowl of the 8 items every 20 minutes clause (hit it three times in total! First purchases were luckily on the BA regen cusp)

Gratz to Zen on the all he namaged to get! :D

I messaged King after, to make sure the desposities weren't in error/regreted, and will remember his generousity if he ever does return to CB.

But it looks like Xmas came early for me! :D

Beats the drop system a hundred fold! ;)

No way, man... Wikipedia says "Happy Christmas" is used in many parts of the UK and Ireland, and it is the term Queen Elizabeth II prefers!

my extended family goes with 'Happy Christmas' and 'Merry New Year' and they are British.... so Sut, and wiki, might be onto something :-)

Considering the Queen prefers "Happy" instead of "Merry" (meaning, in some ways, tipsy/drunk/etc), "Merry New Year" makes sense (at least the way I tend to celebrate!)

We rutinely laugh at Eddie Murphy's "Merry New Year!" over here! ;)
