i want something larger than the biggest ipod, i would prefer 300gigs + for something in my car that i can take with me.

I have to ask, why would you want that many gigs? The biggest iPods hold more than 20000 songs. Unless of course you're going to have everything in FLAC?

There's already "options" out there to upgrade your iPod to ~300gig storage capacity. Sure, you'll lose the iPod in your top pocket feature, however you'll end up with something no larger than a portable CD player suitable enough for your car.
