Feasibility Assessment, aka: how bad is my strat? (in General)

Miandrital December 24 2009 1:15 PM EST

I am thinking about doing this strat:

Minion 1: RoBF and AoI wearing MM mage (training HP, MM, and AP)
Minion 2: AC wall training HP and SS
Minion 3: PL, HP, AMF
Minion 4: Mage Wall training HP (mage shield, EH)

The idea is that I can handle small tanks, as well as the single fb mages. Obviously, I have little EO and no ED, but I am completely open to suggestions for adding either.

Thanks for the help everybody!

the issues that first come to mind:
DD ignores the AoI so SG and decay could prove problematic.

GA, can be a bit of an issue....

Maybe
Minion 1: RoBF and AoI wearing MM mage (training HP, MM, and AP)
Minion 2: PL, HP, AoI
Minion 3: PL, HP, AoI
Minion 4: Heavy Wall

some decay fighting AMF might be good on one of the PL batteries...
The heavy wall is effective against MM and RoBF and Tank damage...

I'd move the mage back a slot, Leadership owns. Loch is very much right about heavy AC's ability to neuter MM damage, especially when coupled with any sort of AMF. no need to really double up on the PL sinks though, XP may be better spent on a AMF minion allowing the one PL to concentrate solely on getting more and more HP and regen via the TSA. Something like:

Minion 1: AMF enchanter, trains AMF (wow!) and SS with a base decay, wears Corn, BoF, AoL, NSC

Minion 2: RoBF and AoI wearing MM mage (training HP, MM, and AP)

Minion 3: PL/HP minitank. 50k ST, 10k DX, all HP and PL otherwise. Wears a TSA, AoAC, HoD, CML, TG, SC, SoC, with a small SoD and hammer-type weapon.
(If you don't like the minitank and just want a standard PL battery, take off the hammer-type and the SoC, and replace it with a MS. I'd still recommend at least 5m ST and a smallish SoD to take out 20HP killslots before you waste an entire round of MM or RoBF damage on one though.)

Minion 4: AC wall. Trains HP. Wears as much AC as you can get on it.
(You could make this minion the minitank instead if you don't feel like going the route of the SoC+Hammer-type. Definitely wouldn't advise removing the 70+ AC that is the MS here though)
