I need help finding the cheapest"low cost"/high quality PSU. I'm gonna upgrade my processor and get a new cooling unit so I want more watts.
I think you need to give us some more information. What plugs do your cooling unit and mobo require for power? How many video cards and peripheral devices does your setup have? IDE or SATA plugs? Modular or regular wires?

ill check later but what do you use?
I've used Ultra and Coolermaster PSUs, but those were for cheaper builds that didn't need a lot of juice or exceptionally high tolerances.

Wattage isn't very important. The amps on the 12V+ rail is what makes a PSU good. I can have $30 700W PSU with 20amps or a $80 350W PSU with 32amps.
Coolermaster is as slow as I'd go. Try going for a basic antec.

Corsair is fairly top of the line, so I wouldn't say cheap..
