I can't imagine Bill Watterson replying to a letter at all, never mind in such a manner. That's assuming you could even find his whereabouts to address the thing in the first place of course.
Pity, as he is/was the greatest modern day animator imo. Well, at least as far as cartoon strips are concerned anyway.
I always felt as if you could lift Hobbes right off the page for a cuddle if you were that way inclined :)
