I love links, but... (in General)

...many of the links posted screw up my CB window because they either open up and the resolution is all messed up, or they open up and kill my sidebar.

Easy way to fix this would be to post them in a manner that makes them open up in a new window separate from CB.
It's perhaps not ideal as this particular forums appeal is the simplicity that comes with copy and pasting the url direct from your browser onto the forum page. Having to use HTML to make it open in it's own window kinda defeats the "easiness" appeal.

Is there a way to fix this direct by doing something within the CB code, or do we have to use HTML and to make the page open in a new window?

<a href="INSERT URL HERE" target="_new">ENTER LINK NAME</a>

Above HTML lets you post the link in order to make it pop up in its own window. I know it's not as convenient as a straight c&p however... :/

Just use the middle mouse button when clicking. This opens it up in a new window/tab.

My phone doesn't have a middle mouse button, and neither does my laptop :(
Yep, I know I can right click and open in a new window. I just like neatness and I'm lazy :)

If it's simply a case of NS dropping in a wee change to some code then cool. If it's more complicated, then no change is fine but it's better to have asked and been told no, than to grumble to myself in ignorance every time it happens as I do at the moment :)

CSS3 hyperlinks would be nice for that. Dunno how much browsers do support it, but you can test it by clicking on the link ;)
Unfortunately at least Firefox doesn't support it :(

I'll try and make it happen for you Beee
