little sticky

DrAcO5676 [The Knighthood III] January 30 2010 12:32 PM EST

its due to the tournament and EXP time at the same time... twice the load on the server

Newlin [SeeD] January 30 2010 12:32 PM EST

a lot slower than usual.

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] January 30 2010 12:34 PM EST

i don't see how the tournament could place twice a load on the server as people can only fight with one character at a time. furthermore, it has never slowed it down before in my experience.

Fight button locks up after <5 fights.

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] January 30 2010 12:35 PM EST

really? the bandwidth of us hitting the server... I'll have to measure what a stream of fighting looks like in Kbps

{CB1}Sparticus [Screwed Justice] January 30 2010 12:36 PM EST

Feel lucky mine was locking up after every fight for like 4-7 seconds each time. atleast i only had 32 turns to use :P

AdminTitan January 30 2010 12:38 PM EST

Definitely not your side.

TheHatchetman January 30 2010 12:42 PM EST

Happens every time I start a NCB :P

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] January 30 2010 12:44 PM EST

now that would suck!

Sickone January 30 2010 12:47 PM EST

Almost completely clogged up :(

Miandrital January 30 2010 12:54 PM EST

Its not that people are fighting in the tourney, that wouldn't do much.

The problem is, all the tourney people are inspecting other people, and checking the recent battles pages like crazy. Those two actions hammer the database, causing lag.
