It's ok, even if you do believe in the nativity, you're still doomed as you're not also Islam.

Christians roughly believe that non christians are not going to heaven.

Muslims roughly believe that non muslims are not going to heaven.

There are no Christian-Muslims.

Good luck getting out of not going to heaven.

**I don't know enough about Islam to know if there are exceptions but there are exceptions in Christianity; however you don't make the cut for an exception if you know about Christianity, only if you've never heard of it.

Christianity is varied on the how and how of heaven and hell.
So widely in fact that what would get you into heaven in one sect would surely damn you in a another...

Hell is actually a modern invention altogether. Biblical accounts of it are rarely seen outside of parables. Many of the words translated as hell aren't actually referring to anything like our concept of it.

The statement (while a gross generalization) isn't incorrect for every sect. Some folks go ever further than that to specify phrases or beliefs that must be said or held to gain access.

But this really wasn't about that... it was about the silliness of stating that a nativity scene somehow made the statement that if you didn't believe you were going to hell. I figure if I find it silly then others might as well.
