A Couple New Skill Ideas (in General)

Just a couple skills I thought of that I wanted to share and see what people thought of them.

Vengeance: A minion using this skill will deal damage to all minions on both teams when it dies at a ratio of the HP below 0 it is at. The ratio of damage would probably be similar to the evasion curve. Where each equivalent evasion effect would be 1% of the damage. So it would be possible to deal over 2x the negative HP.

Divine Link: A minion with this skill will lose HP each round equal to the effect. This lost HP would become a shield in effect reducing each source of damage for the round. This would include GA and maybe AMF damage as well. The effect would be somewhere around .4 to .6 of the skill level. The user will lose HP each round regardless of whether it actually takes damage or not.

To give an example of its use. A tank with a SoD and 1 mil HP attacks a GA user with 2 MM mages. The tank has a 400k divine link giving a 160k effect. At the start of the round the tank loses 160k hp. It would probably say something like "The Tank is encased in a blue light". Then tank hits 3 times for 300k and 120k on the other 3 minions. the GA returns 180k and 72kx3 on each of the hits. But because of the divine link the tank ends up only taking 20k from each of the 3 hits. Each individual hit is reduced by 160k. Then the 2 MM mages cast their spells dealing 250k each. The tank only takes 90k from each.

These ideas aren't really balanced properly yet at all. This is just to give you all some food for thought.

The names are just something I attached to the concepts and if a straight 100% reduction is too much it could work like the old ToE endurance.

I like vengeance but it should have some relation forcing the minion using it to train HP. I think if it was 60% effective without HP, as Evasion is 60% without dex, would help.
Also, make it so the home team takes somewhere between 75% and 50% of the vengeance damage, that way its more about vengeance than an explosion.

Divine Link, i would suggest, works at 60% capacity against spells like AMF and GA, and 80% against the RoBF. Mostly because in your suggestion against the GA alone he gets a 696k dmg reduction from 756k dmg for the cost of 160k HP.

How about divine link working exactly like PL except it only affects backlash damage, so AMF and GA.

You would have to decide if you want your HP/TSA wall to train PL or DL, or you would have to run two walls.
