Quillboar Familiar (in General)

Familiar is always spawned in the first spot, no matter who is wearing it.

Familiar trains 100% HP and has the passive ability of quillboar damage.

All damage that is dealt to the Quillboar is also dealt to the opposing team in the form of "pure" damage like the RoBF. If there is just one minion, it does 100% to that minion, 5 minions it does 20% to each, etc.

The Quillboar cannot gain the effects of GA, if your team has GA it will be cast on everyone but the Quillboar.

If you trian AMF, the Quillboar will reduce the total effect by 25%.

If you fireball your own Quillboar, your team takes the damage, not the enemy.

Quillboar damage is the only damage that doesn't proc Quillboar damage.

Otherwise you'd have an infinity loop and those are no good.

infinity loops don't work with standardized 50 round fights anyway

You certainly wrote the word Quillboar a lot. Kudos for that :P

It sounds okay, pretty good actually, best suggestion ive seen for the "wall" tattoo, I like it apart from the "Familiar is always spawned in the first spot, no matter who is wearing it. "

I'm not sure I see what the point of this is exactly, because it does sound like a really terrible item.

It's a wall with built in 100% GA that can't be dispelled, that also retaliates RoBF damage.

Oh. Now that you have clarified, it doesn't seem that bad. Actually, I kinda really like the idea. Do you think the game mechanics will ever change since Jon has left us, though?

a) Mechanics changes are in the works as they've been working on a new supporter item and bonus structure.

b) Jon hasn't left us... Not entirely anyway. He certainly hasn't been around like he used to be, but he still pops up here and there and hasn't given up on us yet... While we'd be wrong to assume we're owed anything, I must admit that it is growing increasingly disappointing. Jon's the man though, have faith. 'til then, NS is doing what he can. It would really be amazing though to watch two great minds working together to recreate the changemonths of old though...

I like the idea a lot, but it may need some tweaking. Combined with junction the quillboar might get a bit too powerful. Imagine him having a big pair of DBs, and a MGS or SoC. And AC. It's a good thing it's a familiar so it can't get the HP regen a TSA offers, but still. That'll be one tough familiar, lol.

GA is too powerful currently.

And that's with it being 60% max, subject to DM and reducable by AC.

Making it 100%, spread and unreducable by anything is folly.

This could only be balanced if physical armor and magical armor would reduce this.
