For what you did to Heroes, for making more than three 24s, for canceling firefly.
After finally watching all of BSG, all is truly forgiven.
I used to love the film as a kid, specially the first 5 minutes, The TV series lived up to and far surpassed the film, loved every episode, probably the best show I've ever seen by far. If I was American I'd be proud my country made this, and as a Brit, I thank you.
Just wait till you see Glee!
Gah you just had to go and mention Firefly didn't you? I would have agreed completely until I heard you mention the F word and now all I can think about is how I wish it was still going.

With regards to a current chatmail, BSG = Battle Star Galactica.
Glee?
Thing with firefly, if they hadnt canceled it, would he have made Serenity? I really like Serenity too, oozes watch-ability.

You are a year behind my friend.
However, I just recently rewatched the series as well as I had been showing it to a couple friends. Enjoyed it just as much as the first time.

So you mean, you actually *liked* the last 4-5 episodes of BSG ?

I guess it takes all kinds. I managed to struggle through the first couple of episodes and then binned it. I guess after being blown away with the original BSG, anything after was just not going to be good enough. As a young kid I wanted to be Lieutenant Starbuck :)
As for Glee, isn't it chick flick material? Wifey and daughter #1 watch it and think it's "ok". I occasionally overhear the cheesy singalong music whilst doing something else around the house and shudder... In fairness I've not actually watched an episode.
BSG?
First two seasons were epic. The third devolved into a crappy live triangle.
We couldn't be bothered to even finish watching the last series.
You should watch Superantural instead. ;) I can't recommend it highly enough!
Er that should be 'love' triangle. ;)
As for Firefly (Grrr stupid TV companies).
What's the newes series to be picked up?
Why a Sci-fi Space Western.... /sigh

Firefly and BSG - the reason DVD box-sets were invented.

all this aside.... I am far from ready to forgive American TV...
Springer, Wife Swap, 16 & Pregnant, the Hills...
American TV is destroying civilization!

You forgot Jersey Shore: Miami.
Didn't forget it, I just couldn't physically force myself to type the name of that wretched trash...
Oh, incidentally, no love for Babylon 5 in this thread?

Or cougar town...
IMO in scream 4 they REALLY need to kill Courtney cox. Like she has to die so bad...that would ALMOST make up for her not dying in the first 3 films........

Ya'll omitted some of the greater of shows.
House, Ghost Hunters, Myth busters, *Spongebob, *Fairly Oddparents, (*Yes, I openly admit to liking those shows) Family Guy and the Simpsons. Do they get no love either? -Tear-
Check out Breaking Bad, and The Pacific.
To add to above list, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Weeds (only seasons 1-3), and Californication.
For a Canadian show: Trailer Park Boys.
