New web-based RTS from EA (in Off-topic)

I just started it and it looks nice. They just added a feature using the "play now" button that lets you try it without registering, my guess is that once you register you keep the work you have done.

It seems very promising and it is a pretty new game, allowing for a good opportunity to be in the top ranks.

I am playing in World 3 if you wanna join up! If you can decide your continent (I cannot remember if you can) Join me on the #55.

Also, you might want to have a look at that thread if you wanna go deep into it: http://www.lordofultima.com/en/forum/showthread.php?tid=40077

oh gosh. it looks just like Ogame except you're conquering continents instead of the universe. i made it to the top 25% in that game and decided it was impossible to take the top position because you just get crushed and pillaged by the #1 before you even have a chance. i'll give this a try though. ^^

I don't know about Ogame but I've played a couple MMORTS and the fact that LoU is produced by a big, well-known and established company makes me think it wouldn't stagnate as the other usual games of the genre.

Yeah, it's like Evony without all the naked women. As I've seen mentioned elsewhere, they shouldn't have put the link to Ultima in the name, simply because the actual link to Ultima is tenuous at best.

This game fails a crucial point on the checklist for being a good game, namely, EA is in any way associated with it.

I'm going to preemptively judge this game without having visited the website, and save you all the pain of trying it out; it is no good.

This is like ever other land grab game out there, only better, so those still playing Wild Guns could give it a try.
On a lighter note, claiming this like Ogame was weird....

Vaynard [Fees Dirt Cheap] April 23 2010 2:14 AM EDT

Wait. There's a strategy/building browser game with naked women? Why have I not heard of this before?

Only in the advertisment images :)

Oh god when you first start, all the general chat is "So where are all the boobies???!!!!"

Plus Evony sucked anyway. ;)

Really Slayer?? While I agree on some level, mainly due to former frustration with below average EA servers for a lot of their games, EA has grown into one of the leading video game companies in the world...

There are TONS of good games that are only on the market due to EA, and some of them you would never even guess...

Send me account names if you are playing on the World 3 so I can send you an alliance invite.

oh gosh. it looks just like Ogame

I just cringed a little when I read those words...

I spent waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy to much time on that train wreck =/
