SoC dmg Q? (in General)

Unappreciated Misnomer April 29 2010 1:32 PM EDT

Post-battle stats Damage Inflicted 968,400

Battle:
Hal shot Significant use of memory [279595]
Hal shot Significant use of memory [325621]
Hal hit Significant use of memory [395845]
R.I.P. hit Significant use of memory [198806]
R.I.P. hit Significant use of memory [246821]
R.I.P. shot Significant use of memory [243624]
R.I.P. hit Significant use of memory [230066]
Hal shot Significant use of memory [428141]
Hal hit Significant use of memory [250698]

total damage 2,599,217

Significant use of memory's shield flashes! [1,041,973]
Significant use of memory crunched R.I.P. [968400]

Now my Q's are: Why was the dmg recorded in my post battle stats lower than the shield flash? and second why is it the soc dmg so high?

Im using a +20(10% to absorb) and with the double dmg return i calculate only 519,842 dmg should be returned in this fight with all the damage taken in. but double that calculate number again and you get roughly the same(1,039,684) as the shield flash, Im not sure if there is a changelog for the soc i missed or this item it returning 4 times the damage it absorbs rather than just 2 times

I think SoC is the first damage reduction.. else I could never have scored my MPB.

The damage shown is damage after AC

My Obelix Minion does have some 5M+ in HP.. and my PL minion some 2M+ after a full AS.. thats 7M..

I probably have some 50% reduction in total and I hit on Obelix's dying stroke. So I took some 15M+ damage and delivered 5M, which is roughly the 28% he should deal against 0 AC with a named +26 soc.
