Question about GA (in General)

My team - Redbeard - just learned GA yesterday. I have noticed, however, that my lead minion Karis never retaliates using GA. GA is only used by my second minion. I have tried removing various pieces of equipment, but to no effect.

I have been testing against an opponent with no GA, just a large EC. They tend to hit me with 90K - 100K in ranged and GA is about 100K. I know that it should not retaliate with 60%, but it should hit with something.

What am I missing? Does my GA not Trigger on Karis?

You can't use GA along with PL. As long as PL is still there you won't retaliate with GA.
