I like to consider myself culturally open-minded, but this is just stupid. Hurray for separation of church and state.

I try very hard, every day, not to judge anyone around me or in other countries based on my own way of life. People are a product of their environment, and mine is different from everyone else's. Because of that fact I don't feel qualified to make judgements on how anyone lives their lives.

It's hard sometimes, to not judge others. I find the legal actions described in the link totally stupid but...what do I know, eh? For some, religion is an important part of everything, including the Government. I'll never understand that, but to say it's wrong in itself would make me a gigantic jerk. So I'll just settle for

"wut???"

The union of church and state is a fundamental precept of many cultures. That said, one country cannot impart rules on another jurisdiction. When in Rome, as they say.

I imagine the UN as well as Interpol will laugh heartily at Pakistan's request, if it surfaces.

Interesting.. this actually ties back to a South Park episode that Comedy Central censored.
