"death by jabberwocky" recruiting long-term member (in General)

Sickone June 20 2010 10:36 AM EDT

The max VPR we can accept is 107,711.
It's probably going to get lower soon, so get in while you still can.

We are mainly looking for somebody who will stick around as long as possible, and is able to enjoy the company of the rest of the clanmates.

We also expect you to announce your absences or issues with playtime availability (preferably in advance).
If for some reason you can't play for a longer period of time (think several weeks or months, not just a couple of days), then we expect you to leave the clan out of your own free will (you're welcome back later if the situation changes, if there's any room left by then), since we hate kicking people out.
However, we WILL kick out people that went inactive for a longer period of time without announcing it in advance (no, you're in no immediate danger just because you forgot to say you're going on a weekend vacation, but if that keeps repeating we can't promise anything).

We don't have any particular preference between NUBs and NCBs, each have their advantages and disadvantages.

We are happy to provide advice or assistance to NUBs if they need it, as long as they think they want to keep playing the game for a longer period of time, and by long, I mean a year and upwards - especially if you're a NUB that, say, are slightly above the VPR limit we can accept and has to create a new character to be able to join.

We understand most NCBs might have problems keeping a positive score at times during their growth (especially around 2 mil MPR), so as long as you make an effort to keep it as short as possible by focusing on growth (i.e. fighting often, fighting good targets), it's not a big deal if you slip into the negatives a bit and for a while.
That also goes for NUBs, but they usually have it easier, with the zero-cost extra BA (as opposed to the insane BA cost of a NCB).

To some, it might seem we ask for a lot, to others it might seem we don't ask for much.
Either way, hope you consider joining us and making the best of it for as long as possible.

We got one member already, and it looks like there's a bit of extra left for another NUB/NCB if you move fast :)

The max VPR you can accept is 9,722.

Well, looks like the new player didn't really like the game too much (meh, so many NUBs don't), so... spaces available again.

The max VPR you can accept is 95,214.

If you are considering a NCB now may be a great time, we're usually in the top 5 and with a couple new folks getting positive points we have a good shot at 15.0% on a regular basis...

Dammit, I'm getting sick and tired of people joining the clan only to sit there as dead weight, to not even bother responding to chats and not log in for days almost right from the start !
While what was said above remains valid for "veterans", for newcomers, additional rules will apply from now on.

Newcomers will have to send a greeting or respond to one soon after joining or face expulsion.
They have to login at least daily to burn their BA, if they are offline for more than one day without warning, they're also out without warning.
NUBs must try to fight at least 450 battles per day on average (two logins plus daily free BA should more than cover that) or risk expulsion.

Well, at least that way they can't run away, eh, Wraithlin ? ;)

TheShazbot July 20 2010 10:52 AM EDT

You're welcome. Treat him well, he is quite bright and seems to learn fast.

Wraithlin July 20 2010 11:38 AM EDT

I should make a new ncb and put him in there, since i lost 2 months on this one already during my move.

Sickone July 20 2010 2:33 PM EDT

Just make sure you join immediately after you create the NCB ;)
