Maximising clan points? (in General)

QBJohnnywas July 19 2010 7:14 AM EDT

So, how do I?

Wraithlin July 19 2010 8:14 AM EDT

Build and unkillable team and fight 100% clan targets and buy all your BA everyday.

QBJohnnywas July 19 2010 8:24 AM EDT

Buying ba, fighting only clan players, and for the most part I'm pretty sure they're 6 pointers most of the week. I also don't miss any ba except occasionally. And yet a lot of the time I don't get as many points as other players. Although it is getting better.

Kefeck [Demonic Serenity] July 19 2010 8:27 AM EDT

Are they in the same regen rate as you? Someone in a higher regen rate has more opportunity for higher clan points.

QBJohnnywas July 19 2010 8:29 AM EDT

I'm a 6/20.

Wraithlin July 19 2010 8:29 AM EDT

Well looking at your battle log, you're getting about 300 fights against you a day and 480 fights for yourself a day.

Which means you're at a 180 positive spread for only around 1080 clan points a day.

Someone like Zenai's character has about a 300 fight positive spread meaning he can rack in 1800 points.

And of course everyone who isn't in the top BA bracket just gets to spend more BA a day than you do which means they can get those higher win spreads.

Really if you want to up your clan points at this point you need to inspect the people that farm you, try to find one or two common strategies that are farming you and that you think you can do something about and work to eliminate them as farmers.

Buying Sunday BA Saturday night, making sure you're at 160 when clan points start Monday.

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] July 19 2010 8:55 AM EDT

wearing a kilt whilst clan fighting helps a ton! ; )

QBJohnnywas July 19 2010 9:06 AM EDT

Buying sunday ba, and not fighting on sunday already.

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] July 19 2010 9:46 AM EDT

I also don't miss any ba except occasionally.

it doesn't take much missed to add up. i am not as vigilant as i used to be and am now only in ninth place for the year. you are quite a bit behind me in that ranking.

TheShazbot July 19 2010 10:08 AM EDT

Removing farmers helps raise the spread.

QBJohnnywas July 19 2010 10:16 AM EDT

The year doesn't reflect an accurate state, its been a bad year for comp access.

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] July 20 2010 1:07 AM EDT

ok, for the month i am in fifth place and i think i miss some ba. you are in like 18th and think you miss very little.

how many can you get in one day again in 6/20?

Demigod July 20 2010 5:55 AM EDT

18 per hour times 24 hours = 432
432 + 144 buy-up = 576 total BA per day

Demigod July 20 2010 5:56 AM EDT

The real issue is removing non-6 point people...

QBJohnnywas July 20 2010 6:04 AM EDT

My fightlist is all 6 pointers.

Dude, can you give me a rough idea of how you spend your BA, when you buy and how long it takes you to burn?

There's like 6k points between us, so I'm obviously doing something wrong. I am missing some BA, and it might be adding up to a decent amount, but surely not enough to lose out on 6k points...

Demigod July 20 2010 6:08 AM EDT

Loses in past 24 hours:
JohnnyWas: attacked 490 times
dudemus: attacked 495 time

You're even in that stat. So Johnny, you'd have to miss roughly 1000 BA more than dudemus for that to hold... how often do you hit "remove non-6 point members?" If you do it daily, I have no clue.

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] July 20 2010 9:20 AM EDT

i really don't do anything special. some times i buy at midnight server time and others during the day. it is mostly just when i have time to burn it.

i go through mine quickly unless i am being farmed, i do watch for that pretty carefully though again unless i need to finish fast.

i used to go through every other day and remove non 6 pointers but lately it hasn't been removing anyone so i pretty much just add all clan members close to my score on sunday and then remove any who drop from clans during the week.

maybe it has to do more with how many are taking clan points away from you rather than how many battles?
