Try opera mini, it always worked better for me than mobile on CB

I have a similar problem on the Palm Pre. I think it has to do with frames; it won't show anything in the main window that's longer than the sidebar. It's fixed if you open the pages without the sidebar (save the link or something to the active threads page).

Opera Mini is a good browser. I'm using it on an Android phone, and although it's slower than the built in Android browser, it has better functionality.

(my phone has a pretty big screen, and much of the forum posts fit on the screen at a readable magification. However some have a sentence or two that goes outside this area, even if the rest of the same entry doesn't. It seems quite random too...)

i had wondered if i was the only one! i am using the palm pre as well and it would be great if we could get this one fixed.

i am on the road now but if someone could add this to the known issues under low priority and link to this post it would be great! i will do so later if no one else has though if i remember.

I can't imagine using Opera Mini with the android browser available... what version of android are you on JW?

QBJohnnywas July 21 2010 2:34 PM EDT

I've got a sony ericsson that is running android 1.6. 2.2 comes soon. The opera is better for things like selecting text and downloads. But it is much slower so the androids browser gets used for cb.

I to cb on my Pre and cannot see anything longer than the sidebar. We can't get Opera on our phones can we? Is there any different browsers we can use?

added to known issues.
