I've noticed that the 13% DX and skill penalty from using a 2h weapon with a shield applies to junctioned familiars. Is this working as intended? It seems odd, as the familiar itself wields no weapon and therefore has no reason to be penalized.
All the penalties and bonuses are junctioned over to familiars so it is indeed working as intended.
I agree that this is odd. If the Familar can't gain the benefits of a Weapon in any way, then it shouldn't suffer the penalties either.
In essence, Weapons aren't junctioned over, as they do nothing. So the Weapon + Shield penalty shouldn't be junctioned either.
You're not junctioning over armor, you're junctioning over armor benefits and penalties that are received by the AoJ wearer.
Titan is correct. The final effect is what goes over.
This is why bloodlust is so whacked.

Wait... you mean I can just have a base BL base ST minion and have my jig get the full .75?
