I don't know why, but I love this game. I can play it for a few minutes in the morning before work. And a few minutes before bed. It's awesome. It's strategy It isn't quite Starcraft, but it has some awesome build up.

You want big space battles?

AI Wars ftw

This is similar but different from AI War, because in this game, you have a build out for each ship, and you can tell each individual ship what properties it should exhibit during combat, but you don't get to control it during combat. It's declarative strategy. It's really fun. Individual ships are more important in Gratuitious Space Battles.

Oh god.
I've been looking for a game like this for years.
There goes my soul.

Yup, I've played GSB, it wasn't bad, and with a few expansions it seems to have now, it is probably much better... no time for more games though ;)
