I was looking to try new things, and someone had mentioned everquest a long time ago. I was wondering if anyone knew much about everquest 1 or 2 and if I was to try to start playing which should I play, and which one? From what I was looking at there are different everquest 2 games, like addons I guess. I'm not sure. So any info would help a lot thanks.

The beginning game in both games is pretty much dead, and if you have friends who play, it would be recommended to play with one of them.
Not to be a naysayer, but neither is fun to play alone without other people that you know, and or random people.
(played EQ1/2 off and on since 2002)

Ok, then I would love to find some kind of game that I can enjoy. I played WoW for years and years and had a great friend I met from there that passed away quickly and after that I just can't seem to play WoW anymore, but I am wanting to play something. I am out to test anything really. I don't mind if it is free or if it has a pay option. So show me fun :)
Three words..
League of Legends.. xD..
I was rank 16 in 3v3s for a bit in League of Legends :D
Final fantasy 14 is due out supposedly this year, but im guessing the end of the world is more realistic(2012) lol due out on PC and PS3
there is also Aion which looks nice if you have the pc for it. there is a second expansion coming
and everyone loves WoW especially with the new cataclysm expansion coming out its a good time to join when it does because alot of people will be playing the new races so its good to play while everyone is leveling up.
other than that you can play asherons call for free for 14days, its pretty old and has a solid base for customization.
all of the above cost monthly if you decide to join but if free is what youre looking for try
dungeons and dragons or LOL
Guild Wars 2 is supposed to come out near the end of this year. Planning on picking it up as the first was a blast.
