Ok. Strategy time. (in General)

Ok. I have a jig. I can stick with that or buy something else. I am about 2 days from starting this NCB and I haven't been around for a bit. I want 3 or 4 minions. I would like something that isn't just another cookie cutter type build. I want something just a little different. If it works great, if it doesn't that is ok also. I just want to try something. Let's see some ideas :). I have about 2 mil to purchase gear, and I can also get gear as the character develops.

That is about all. Hope to see some good ideas.

Jig + UC jct minion + HP/SG minion + AMF minion + PL wall.
UC jct'd jiggy should have enough evasion backed up by PL to beat tanks, AMF + 5 target spread and a good amount of natural HP makes you resistant to FB/DM teams, adding SG hopefully gives you enough offense to chew through robf/big wall teams.

UC is great at the start as it raises your enc alot, but if you are relying on that as your bread and butter i would think about adding an axbow/exbow, put your jig with the aoj on another character to get more out of a combat gi.

If you are thinking SG might be a problem just rig it up so the first minion to get dmg has alot of hp and no AC. add the nsc, mgs,eh to the rear.

If you do go 3-4 minions AS would be a good addition as would GA and DM/AMF but thats very cookie cutter but decent.

I will post a fun strat when I get back tonight. It takes a while to explain.

AdminNemesia [Demonic Serenity] August 24 2010 4:27 AM EDT

4 minion strat using the jig. You have 1 minion train AS 1 minion train GS, 1 minion train haste and 1 minion train UC and VA. The UC minion junctions of course and then you can equip mostly what you want on the other minions. Whatever weapon selection you want as well. It isn't the greatest strat in terms of beating everyone as it is very weak to DM, but it is very versatile and can be a lot of fun to play around with. Definitely not cookie cutter as I have never seen anyone other than me run this.

Again, welcome back!

I think I've seen Cylo run that strat before...

Try dm dm dm dm+ff. If you're willing to pick your targets carefully it can't be beat.

Novice you are correct. I did something very similar to your thought Natasha. Only difference was I did 4 uc minions, with each minion training uc and haste, or gs, or ablative shield and then on the last one I junctioned. Every minion had a combat gi, and all the best gear. It didn't work well, but it was fun. It was shoalin monks. Most people didn't like to fight that character because you couldn't hit them haha. Thanks for thoughts I will be trying something out this Saturday at xp time.

Ahhhh, Shaolin Monks. A favorite of the single DM/FB mage. I remember it! :)
