Clan Warfare and Player Retention Idea (in General)

So step 1 is we need someone to come up with a sweet map of about 20 different territories and territory names.

These territories can be owned by clans, and owning a territory gives a small bonus to different stats. Examples of stat bonuses are:

+2% to DD
+2% to EOs
+2% to EDs
+4% to HP
+4% to STR
+4% to Dex
+5% to AC
+3% to Skills
+1% to FB and UC, +2% to HP
+1% to CoC and Archery, +1% to STR
+1% to MM and Evasion, +1% to DEX
+1% to SG and Bloodlust, +1% to AC

In other words, small stat increases that clans would be able to fight over.

Addition to the clan management page would be choosing a clan color and uploading a clan flag.

On the overall map it would display each territory in the color of the clan that owns it, with a small picture of thier flag in the middle. It would also have a link or a mouseover for what each territory gave for bonuses.

How the fighting works:

At any time you can go to the territory map as the clan leader and select which territories your clan will fight over next week. You can pick all territories if you want, or just a couple.

On Sunday night, the same time you can start earning clan points again all wars become active. Any territory that is currently owned by nobody and has at least 2 clans fighting for it will have a war opened. Any territory that is owned by a clan and has at least 1 clan fighting for it will have a war opened.

A war is resolved by inter-clan fighting. For a simple example we'll use only 2 clans. For that whole week any clan fights that happen between the 2 clans will go towards the war. You just get 1 point for winning, 0 for losing. These points are tallied on the map page, there will be a link for each territory that you can go to the leaderboards for the war for that territory and it shows how many points the clan has.

At the end of the week, the clan with the most wins over thier enemy wins the territory and will own it and all the bonuses for the next week.

If there are more than 1 clan fighting for a territory then you can get points off anyone that is currently fighting for it, so it just gives more targets. Again even if 5 clans are fighting for it, just the top clan in wins over the other 4 will win the territory for the next week.

Exceptions:
You can only have at max 3 territories selected for targets for next week.
If you are selecting targets that are already owned by another clan, you can only choose one of thier territories.

Basically you can fight for up to 3, but you can't steal more than 1 territory from a specific clan per week. This should keep the number of territories that have the exact same clans fighting over them to a minimum.

on my wall guy i have 416 ac that with steel skin is 520. that includes the +5 to ac from leviathan scales.

five percent would be amazing! each ac at this level costs me 1.5m and increases in cost dramatically per point.

While this is a cool idea I don't think this really fits in with the flavor of CB. It would work for an awesome tourney though.

seems an awful lot of work for a torny... However this would be a nice change if it affects normal game play... We just have to keep in mind that the 'flavour' of cb would just be however jon and ns want it to be...
