October Assassins Tournament (in Contests)

Starting on October 1st at Midnight (or Sept 30th at midnight if you prefer) the next round of Assassins will start (provided there is enough interest).

First Prize will be 4 mil (of my cash, we'll see if admins donate again)

Second Prize will be 2 mil (again my money)

Third Prize will be 1 mil (I'm trying to be broke)

There will be a slightly different set of rules for round two. Big changes are:

You will need to kill all of your assassins, or think of it as wound all of your enemy assassins. First to score kills on everyone wins first place, the second to do it scores second place, etc.

You have to post once a day or risk losing entirely (even if you already killed everyone else). This is the baseball system, 3 strikes and you're out of the tournament.

Again, I will be doing random events throughout the tournament. And again it will be an assassination by posting right after someone else. However your target will be everyone, so it'll be a race to kill when someone posts.

Post your interest here, if we get at least 10 interested, it will be a go.

For a heads up for richer people than me, the first 5 mil I get in charitable donations will replace my contributions, but I'll keep 2 mil in at least. Oh and 3rd place will get to eat the transfer fees again, although Zenai and his gracious heart will probably make up your losses again.

Hopefully the big rule changes will make this round more fun as all participants will get to stay in until the end (unless you miss three days).

Two other changes:

#1: You can bet on yourself in this tournament. If you want to donate to the tournament you can donate up to 1 mil before it kicks off. Just make sure you specify this is a bet on yourself so I can keep track of it, otherwise I'll take it as a charitable donation.

If you get 3rd place you get your money back.
If you get 2nd place you get double your money back.
If you get 1st place you get triple your money back.

#2: If you are a returning Assassin you will get a Bonus in this game. Don't worry for those that didn't join the last one, this bonus isn't going to win them the game, just something nice for humoring me. Also if I continue to run these from time to time, I will be having small bonuses for each one you join in the future as well.

GL sat crossed legged, finishing the last of his gear checks. Making sure the custom silencer fits his Mateba Grifone, and the diamond coating had properly bonded with his two punch daggers. Finally adjusting the ablative plating on his HULC exoskeleton.

"Remote controlled sinper rifles are so last year"

A vaguely feminine voice purred over his earpeice, to which GL responded with a dismissive grunt.

"This time will be better"

Instinctively his hand reached for the still fading scar left by the last mission.

"Have you made contact yet?"

"The organiser is still compiling the list of targets."

"OK. So now we wait."

This time would be different.

I'll give it a shot, the last one looked like the participants had fun.

Well that's already 10 so the tournament will be a go. Since it's officially going you can start betting on yourself if you want, make sure you send me a PM with the info on the bet if you do. Remember it's a cap of 1M.

Zenai also said he would be donating the same thing as he did last tournament, not sure if that includes the item of your choice for first place, Zenai if you don't mind posting here the specifics of that part.
