SYE: Almost exactly the same thing as CB chat, but not limited to Carnage Blender, if that makes sense to you.

the fun part about imvu is you can make and buy things to customize an avatar. idk about just chatting back and forth. and i also like web camming with buddies :D
I liked IMVU, but it was incredibly laggy on my computer :(.
