Replying to this thread will get you entered into the assassin's tournament round two.
The rules are on the previous thread and as before there will be events that alter the rules.
Rules for this thread:
Rule #1: DO NOT POST until midnight + 1 minute on October 1st.
Rule #2: DO NOT POST until midnight + 1 minute on October 1st.
Rule #3: Once you post you are free to assassinate anyone else in the tournament that has made a post in this thread and/or another thread that have timestamps AFTER your post.
Rule #4: You can only assassinate once per post, so assassins will be competing to get kills in this version.
Rule #5: Anyone that competed in my first tournament, the special bonus for this tournament is that you will be immune to assassination in this thread only. (Please add a line in your posts that let people know you competed in the last one).
Rule #6: All posts in this thread have to be in character.
----------------------------------------------------------------
It's not everyday you become the best assassin in the world. But apparantly memories are short and assassins are quick to make a name for themselves. Once again, there are way too many assassins and not enough targets. On top of that, some of the richer people in the world rather enjoyed the last round of assassin fights and have decided that they want some more enjoyment out of this.
This time they have requested that you don't kill your targets, only that you wound them or mark them in some way to show your dominance in this contest. The winner is to be the first one to mark all of thier rivals.
To make it even more interesting, they have placed all of your weapons in a time-lock safe hidden somewhere in Tokyo. You spent the last month searching for the location and now you just have to wait to access your weapons, luckily you had some extra time to find some of the safes of your rivals as well. If the timing works out, you should be able to get a mark or two on day one.

Time Update:
It's just under 3 hours till the timelock clicks off. I set up the camera at my primary target's safe...no movement yet. If I pull this off he'll never know what hit him.
I was defeated before.
This time, I shall mark my targets with a brand of shame. None shall escape it.

It was going to be another cold winter, but I knew I had to keep warm somehow. I was to take on another mission from the boss, hopefully this time it would be enough to keep the heat on.
And the fun begins. My unsuspecting target slowly dons his equipment, but not fast enough. As Zippy zips up his bulletproof vest, I pull out a heated iron and brand the neck of my target.
One down.
The prize is mine. Immune to assassination in this thread.
*snatches her claws from the safe and jumps up to hide in the ceiling to lie in wait for the slower folks who are prime for the picking.
*Creeps through the shadows looking for his target in the dark alleyways* He thinks to himself "Hard to believe I was chosen for this particular job."
Peekaboo
Natasha hangs upside down from the ceiling behind DrAc05676's head, quickly slashes an N into his back and slips back into the ceiling.

Having my prized blades snatched from me, I'll have to improvise for now, what's this? a broken bottle, I'm sure it'll work fine for now.
Mew mew
Natasha drops down silently behind Victimizer and quickly slashes her trademark N into his back before dashing off into the shadows.
As Nayab approaches the safe, he lightly touches the scars at the base of his neck. Even decapitation can not stop the determined, and now it is time for vengeance.
Reaching in, Nayab pulls out a vial of poison and shurikens. Time for some fun.

In only a matter of minutes, My bottle finds a target... Nayab has a mark on him.
*with Confidence GL strides into the room*
"Tokyo. Well that's new..."
(Immune to Assassination, bonus from participation in last contest)
Sorry to ruin the mood for you Victimiser, I thought the whole "vengeance from previous encounters" would be enough.
(immune to assassination, bonus from previous round)
feeling rather immune, i strut into the room...let's party!
Failure... that was the lingering feeling that stayed from the last assassin's tournament. This time... the rules had changed. This time, I would not lose.
GL's Mateba barks, blood sprays the air. 1 Wound.
(Just in case I need to add another line that's I'm immune to assassinations here)

Post that you are assassinating people with are already immune to assassinations, just like last time. Also since the question came up, if an assassination post is the only post you made in a 24-hr period, it doesn't count as your daily post. You have to make one post that puts you in harms way. The only exception to that rule is this first day, all the people returning get a free first day (unless they feel the need to post elsewhere of course).
Titan walks into the room with a bullet proof vest on. Try and take me out with this on suckers.
(I'm immune)
*GL sprints from the room*
"Heh. That was a close one. But someone out there is looking after me this time."
"Slow start this time, but preparations have been made..."
(OOC: rule clarification. I assume posts in this thread don't count for the Daily post? As otherwise 'Sins fromt he last competition could just post here each day without fear.)
I think they count only if you didn't participate in the last one.
*GL thumbs through the list of targets*
"Four down, 7 more to go. Going to be tight to claim the prize..."

If you've made a post that's immune to assassination, it doesn't count as a daily post.
"Confirmation received from the sponser"
A vaguely feminine voice purred over GLs earpice.
"Heh. As I'd assumed. It's of little consequence. Still, nice to note for those other veteren Assassins, like myself."
*GL checks his weapon once more, before settling down for a long wait*
GL stands, covering the entrances to this store.
"I can hear you. you're not quite as quiet as you'd like to be."
*the safety snaps shut on GLs Mateba*
"This is a place of some sanctuary for us. Show yourself, I at least am in no danger here. Maybe we could trade information..."
"Ah, AK. I know all about your past exploits. So how does this competition fare for you? You have already suffered by my hands, but this isn't over yet..."
*GL reaches out a hand to AK*
*Ak sniffs GL hand and runs screaming*
I am withdrawing from the tournament. I've no time, unfortunately.
/me shoots everyone with hot irons as they crowd around to hear his announcement.
I win!
No really, I'm dropping out.

Also this Guy...
Sorry everyone, I got busy over the weekend and missed out on a few days of required posts, so I sent a CM to Wraith on my withdrawal from the contest. I guess the message wasn't relayed.

Ah yeah i got it, forgot to relay it here though.
Same, not even getting half my BA in.
Just incase that isn't a withdrawl, and JS wasn't in the last tournament.
JS, I assassinate you. 1 Wound.
That was a withdrawal AND I was in the last tournament. :P
Natasha walks casually up to a main square in Tokyo. She leaves a victorious dummy of herself there declaring to everyone that she is the victor without ever being marked. Underneath she leaves a little sign that states for everyone to mark the dummy in place of her while she enjoys her vacation far away. Then she quickly fades back into the crows passing through.
Just in case nat's not immune... I mark while she's setting up!
You can get the dummy and it counts. ^_^
whoops sorry. I'm immune in this post :P But I don't think nat is. ;)
