Have any old Diablo 2 keys? (in Off-topic)

Ankou October 3 2010 2:56 PM EDT

Hey, does anyone have Diablo 2 keys that they aren't using anymore? In search of an expansion key that works online. I am aware that Blizzard sells them, looking for one cheaper than the $10 they want. As always, free is best, might be able to agree on a CBD deal too.

I have a diablo 2 key I never use anymore. Are you looking for D2 and LoD?

Fuhgawz October 3 2010 4:11 PM EDT

My keys are already tied to my battle.net account or I would let you have them

Demigod October 3 2010 5:11 PM EDT

If I recall, I shared a key with a friend in college. The only downside was that we couldn't both be online at the same time.

And someone give this guy a key... I really don't want to have to dig through boxes in the closet to find a game key that I may or may not even still have.

i'll sell you mine for 10mil :D

Bought from them before, keys used to be like 6 bucks now they are 8.49 still a good deal for a good game.

Anyone find any cool preorder deals yet for d3?

BootyGod October 3 2010 5:54 PM EDT

I've always wondered if I should try D2. AT this point, I may as well wait for D3 though...

Meh. Too many games.

BadFish October 3 2010 6:40 PM EDT

I've put, quite literally, thousands of hours in playing D2. I've bought 10+ copies over the span of 10 years. I've only recently decided i'm finished with the game for good, but its insanely good; if you haven't tried it yet, you should. It may not be as pretty as newer games but it is incredibly addictive with infinite replay value.

Fiend, D2 is quite old at this point, but I tried to quit several times and I keep coming back. Started playing in '01 and still find reasons to play after over 3 years away. Nostalgia mainly.

Badfish is right, It has infinite replay value. If had to choose only 5 games I could play for the rest of my life D2 would be one of them (so far). I am hoping that D3 is as good or better. So I may wait for it.

I'd disagree. Play D2, get familiar with the combat system, storyline, character classes, enemy types, important NPCs, etc. The game is STILL a ton of fun, and I firmly believe D3 will be more enjoyable to someone who has played D2.

Seriously, has no one hook Ankou up yet?

Demigod October 3 2010 8:59 PM EDT

*hooked*

I rummaged through the closet and found my DII: LoD box and disk. I don't see a key anywhere in it. Any idea where it's printed?

Demigod October 3 2010 9:24 PM EDT

Oh, and I did NOT find my DII game or box, just the expansion.

Ankou October 3 2010 9:36 PM EDT

The key is printed on a sticker on the respective disc's individual case

QBOddBird October 3 2010 10:24 PM EDT

I have a Diablo 2/Expansion keygen, which I would readily offer to you, but I'm sure they would not work online. :P

Wraithlin October 3 2010 10:49 PM EDT

On a side note, if you have a key that you want to keep I highly recommend signing into battlenet and registering your key there. Then you can download the game electronically from the blizzard website whenever you want in the future as many times as you want. Very useful.
