Dodging (in General)

I've got a crazy idea for an anti physical minion, something I might actually try after my NCB finishes.

A minion training;

Equal Dexterity and Evasion

Wearing;

AoF, BoE, EC, EB, EG

To layer all the DEX/Skill increasing armours in the aim to dodging every physical attack.

What do you all think, and how would you fit it into a team?

You're never going to dodge every physical attack. Also, AoI > AoF.

if you can dodge a wrench...you can dodge a ball!

sorry. I had to say it.

True, but difficult to use for the BCTH reduction unless you're a single minion, or all wear AoIs. :/

The goal would be to outpace attackers DEXs, by being able to use all the DEX increasing gear, while they would probably be using a mix of STR boosting stuff instead.

My NUB team ran 1 wall minion without AoI and 1 evasion minion with AoI, the goal was that most of the attacks that were definately going to hit happen in range, so the wall survives ranged rounds and then they can't hit me in melee. It worked very well.

This won't work. You will never make them always miss. You would actually be more likely to succeed with that by training EC instead of dex. Even if you doubled their dex they would still be hitting you. This is assuming you have more evasion than their pth as well.

having hp backup is absolutely necessary.

just a jigoro had junctioned dex boost gear as well as good free evasion from uc. i also used ec. 100 bth items raped me in ranged even with the boosts inherent to them. either dex doesn't do enough or bth (especially 100) does too damn much! in my humble opinion of course.

i guess you might also argue that evasion was fixed too well. ; )
