Strategy: The ultimate decay counter (in General)

This thread isn't a complaint about a game mechanic, but more of a what my next steps should be.

My growth rate is better, as I have clawed out of that terrible 10-20% max bonus range and am seeing some nice bonuses now. However, I am being held back from a full fightlist of 100% due to a few of the targets I was after using a TSA.

I wanted to try a team built around a lot of small damage and a large decay/GA. It is pretty fun so far, but I have run into this wall. Some fights I get stalemates since my decay will only match the regen of the TSA since it is applied when the round is done. Its funny that for 35 rounds the fight log is pretty much the same and I have done in the neighbourhood of 25 mil damage :)

Next Steps? There are a good 4 targets I can't beat that would give me 100% bonus for the next 2 whacky exp times and I so desperately want them on my fightlist :)

The only thing I can think of is dropping my SG for another decay, but I don't want to lose that much HP if I run into a decent sized AMF. Thoughts?

Changing minion order doesn't help...I still get 35 rounds of this lol T_T

thats weird because i just moved my decay minion to the back and he casted last rather than first in melee.

Novice just ran an awesome single minion Robf decay strategy in the previous tourney. You might want to talk with him about it.

It does change the cast order but doesn't seem to make a big difference in the fights since he ends up dieing too early to do anything. No AoF on him for a nice HP boost :P

Well, if your melee minions attack before your Decay hits, there is less HP for the Decay minion to remove. It is better to have the melee minion hitting after the Decay. Then you can increase your melee damage to tip over the regen amount as needed

What annoyed me was the decay hitting after my RoBF... Oh and TSA wearers hiding in death from the decay...

haha so now the melee goes before the decay since he has more HP and I still get 35 round of T_T
