NUB and NCB and a snippet about black market (in General)

Players always talk about NUB and NCB and how they are either OP (NUB) or not rewarding enough (NCB). Well lets take this time to first examine the goals of the bonuses and determine if they are meeting the goal. If the bonuses are not meeting the goal then let us discuss why and how we fix it.

NUB is considered the better of the 2 as it gives a large bonus to cash and xp. Its goal is to get a player from ground zero to to the top or at least near it in around 6 months. As a new player there are big flaws in this formula which i hope to outline. 1 NUB leaves the player cold and alone in a harsh world with no idea what to do what works what doesn't. 2 PR is poorly explained to us and it affects us a great deal with the way challenge bonus works. 3 it makes room for few mistakes or you've wasted everything. 4 you need to be ready to go full tilt right off the rip or you waste valuable time.

NCB well i do not have first hand knowledge of this however i know the mechanics. This is basically the NUB without the cash and hyper expensive BA. obvious drawbacks but you have the ability to learn the game and acquire the NW and cash to run BA everyday. I feel the knowledge gained exceeds the price because assuming you plan accordingly you can even superseed the costs and USD can't buy knowledge.

Are the bonuses working to meet the goals set? in my opinion no. Before i go on i want to get the community to voice its opinion.

Black Market can we please lower the required vote total?

Just my 2 cents; on the NUB bonus, first off I feel it is the players responsibility to jump in and ask questions of other members (just the feeling I get). Being very new to the game myself I like having the NUB bonus (of course) and I know I wasted quite a few battles figuring out what works and what doesn't for me, not to say I have figured it all out by any means, but I think that is what keeps this game interesting. There is a ton of information concerning this game and I think Kefeck summed it up best when he said its a "very complicated version of Rock Paper Scissors." If you could start this game with all the information you needed to succeed or for you to make a character invincible would defeat the purpose of this game (my opinion only). Unfortunately I don't know the goals for the bonuses that are set, but in my experience thus far it seems to keep my interest. The one draw back I don't like is that it doesn't really give you anything to look forward to after the NUB bonus, but thinking about how players have been playing for years it is understandable to have a slow down period because then there would be character's completely untouchable due to time spent playing.

I have been playing for right at a month and I know I have still barely scratched the surface of the mechanics, but all in all I like that, because I can always learn more which only enhances my gaming experience.

I have read many things about how the tutorial scares many people away, but I can see from all the people that still currently play that it doesn't scare them all away. That being said I feel that you get a higher caliber of player playing this particular game. I'm not saying it couldn't be better, because there is nothing that can't be improved upon.

As far as the tutorial goes I would think hiring mentors of some kind at a percentage of XP, cash or both would elevate all the confusion concerning the whole tutorial thing and also bring out more chatter among new players including more sign ups if you were to say, you mentor the person that signs up under you. Again this is just my 2 cents.

nub would need alot more cash bonua to be considered invincible or get anywhere near the top now days with hyper inflated chars >see zenai's elbow as just one example.

The NUB was never designed to compete with USD. It was designed to give you the change to get an amount of rewards that is about equal to a player who was fighting consistently and buying ba consistently for more or less the whole time. The design of the NUB/NCB is that if run perfectly it would give you 95% of the top MPR. Note that I say run perfectly. Though it doesn't include exp bonuses from hiring.
