Computer accessories help! (in Off-topic)

Hi! I'm about to go to bed, but I thought I'd put this out there and see if anyone has any advice or experience with these things. I had planned to do my own shopping, but might as well use you all, since you all are typically pretty good at these things.

So! What I'm looking for is a new keyboard, mouse and computer monitor. And a new mousepad!

I play mostly WoW and a few other games on my computer. Honestly, all I do on my computer is play games. So keep that in mind with suggestions.

For keyboards, well, a basic keyboard will do fine, honestly. But a gaming one (with extra keys and such) could be a lot of fun too. A max for price range here is $150 (I'm not sure if that's reasonable. I checked pricing on keyboards, but if there are no quality gaming keyboards under 150, I may up this. So let me know on that, too!)

I also want a gaming mouse, more than 5 buttons, non-trackball (I've never used one and I'm turrified of change) and under $100. And that's a max, period. I know I can get quality for less than that, but don't want to limit it too much.

As for computer monitor, that's where I'm most flexible. I'm not watching blu-ray or movies constantly on my computer, so it doesn't need to be super amazing. Nor do I play any games that require incredible displays. What I'm looking for here is quality cheap. Over 17 inches would be nice. I won't set a price limit here, because I don't really know. Under 300 would be... Best, I guess, haha.

And a gaming mouse! I didn't even know those existed until yesterday and I've never seen one. If you can recommend a store that sells them even, that'd be swell. I've heard of Frys, but they don't seem to exist around Atlanta.

So, any help would be appreciated.

PS: I did look through someone else's post looking for a gaming mouse, so that's... Well, that's that. I haven't picked one for sure from there, but there were definitely some appealing looking ones in there.

PPS: I'd like everything corded, unless you can give me a good reason to go with wireless.

methinks perhaps the second reference should have been to a gaming mousepad such as this one:

GW, you can find great items for well under the prices you gave.

Newlin's thread is loaded with mouse options, so let us know if you like one style more than another.

For the monitor, GO LARGER THAN 17". At least 19", really. You can get a decent 22" monitor for about $170 on Amazon or Newegg at any time. If you've never used a 22" monitor, just trust me that it's the way to go.

I've never used a gaming keyboard or gaming mouse, but I'd hesitate to spend a lot of money of a gaming mouse. Pretty much anything that's larger than the standard dinky ones should be fine.

personally the main thing i think would be cool about the gaming keyboard is the backlit keys as i often play at night and with the lights off.

after reading more of the features with the one i linked though i can see where they could come in very handy!
