Ritalin and Degenerative Bone Disease. (in Off-topic)

I heard from a friend today that Ritalin can cause DBD. Since I was taking it for 11 years when I was younger, I am wondering if this statement was true. Anyone know of any medical writings on this subject?

I did a quick search for medical journals regarding long-term side effects and came up with nothing beyond possible stunted growth. I searched for Methylphenidate, the chemical name, but found nothing new. But I wonder if the confusion is from DBD also meaning Disruptive Behavior Disorder, which would certainly link to Ritalin.

PubMed + Ritalin degenerative bone disease -> 0 results

Yeah, looks like most of the serious effects are linked to the psyche/heart in the case of Ritalin. Nothing even remotely close to degenerative bone disease.
Unless there are some new profound studies on that subject.
I wouldn't be worried :)
