Is this show worth all the hype that I'm subjected to hearing?

I love Firefly, it's like all the bits of Star Wars that Lucas didn't put into the more recent things. Like Han Solo, and action, and humour and adventure, and good dialogue, and convincing effects. And Christina Hendricks.

Just wanted to add my recommendation of Firefly as well. Easily one of my top 5, if not #1, show of all time. The plot is great and the characters are outstanding.

I broke down and watched some episodes. It's really well written. Like Undeclared, it shouldn't have been sacked after one season.
