Can anyone recommend a free GOOD Android development ebook? PDF format is preferred.

I assume you mean for writing Android apps?

Of course.

How else did you interpret it?

No other way, just wanted to make sure.

Also, another question. How good is your java? Is it pretty awesome? Or do you want a book that includes information on Java?

You want to develop an android. Presumably a fembot. Duh.

I am an experienced programmer. I won't need a Java tutorial.

This is also a valid way of reading it. *grin*

I found this one:
Professional Android Application Development by Reto Meier
http://kronox.org/documentacion/Professional_Android_Application_Development.pdf

Anyone use this before? Any reviews will be appreciated.

It looks thorough, but it is 436 pages and I'm looking for something more brief since this is for work and time is a factor. Not to mention I hate lengthy textbooks, and I'm already reading two of them this semester.
