Personal info including credit card info was likely stolen.

I'll be very careful and continue not owning a PS3.

Lochnivar April 26 2011 5:12 PM EDT

Fex, now is the time to get one, I smell a sale coming up!

... just don't go online...

And they say that mainframe is dead.

Unappreciated Misnomer April 26 2011 10:00 PM EDT

nothing was stolen, nothing went missing, they were just copied. its cool.

QBPit Spawn [Abyssal Specters] April 26 2011 10:08 PM EDT

How do you know nothing was stolen, they could already be making charges to CCs.

Demigod April 26 2011 10:28 PM EDT

Pit, you may want to re-read his text. Twas a joke.

QBPit Spawn [Abyssal Specters] April 26 2011 11:06 PM EDT

I got it, he was making fun of one of the arguments of downloading music, but it's a bad analogy.

Unappreciated Misnomer April 27 2011 4:49 PM EDT

feel better knowing that I am someone affected by this. maybe not my CC but my personal info.

Thank god I dont believe in CCs because a wise old man once said to me "if you do not have the cash to buy now, you cannot afford it"

Demigod April 27 2011 5:06 PM EDT

You could have listed a debit card...

QBPit Spawn [Abyssal Specters] April 27 2011 5:11 PM EDT

I do not feel better knowing that as I wasn't offended in the first place. I do hope you come out of it ok though. Your credit rating can be ruined without credit cards...

Unappreciated Misnomer April 27 2011 5:17 PM EDT

lol I know, blockbuster, rogers, some types of power companies and I cant list the rest(too many) but alot report your negligence on paying minor bills, I used to do collections ^_^ I hated the job, but learned alot. Even checking your score lowers it.

Demigod April 27 2011 5:27 PM EDT

Even checking your score lowers it

Nope. Checking your score has no impact, so long as you do it yourself (through a source like www.annualcreditreport.com). It only counts against you have a lender pull it, which counts as a hard inquiry.
