Thor 3D (in Off-topic)

Anyone else go see the latest Marvel movie? I thought it was ok, everything created outside of Midgar looked really cool, compared to well Midgar.

I thought it was okay as well. It wasn't award winning by any means, but it was entertaining enough. It just felt like an introductory installment to the series of superhero movies rather than a standalone film. My only other complaint was that the fight scenes took the usual route of changing camera shots every 0.3 seconds to make it seem more intense when it only made it annoying and messy. Still, it's well worth the money to go see it.

I saw it on opening night courtesy of free passes. I saw it in 2D, because I hate 3D.

The movie was good enough. Not great, but not horrible. Certainly entertaining, if nothing beyond that.

I thought the casting was excellent, but the love story felt forced, and Thor's change of heart regarding .. uh, I'll avoid further spoilers, but that part didn't make much sense to me, and at times I felt myself siding with Loki.

First 3D movie I've seen (outside Disneyworld, what 15 years ago?!?), and I'm wondering why they bothered. The scene over the credits, with all the universe swirling past was impressive, but apart from that I'd have been as well saving οΎ£2 and seeing it in 2d.
Film itself wasn't bad, and at least JMS kept away from the screenplay, but it did feel more like a setup for <hardly a spoiler, but I'll stop there>, especially the last scene (you did stay through the credits, yes?)

Saw it a few weeks ago. I wasn't really impressed with it, but it was still adequate. Pretty much everything I expected to get out of it...
