the black market is a way for the community to come together in order to spawn items. usually one player will volunteer his time, and patience, for the black market vote guide. there is nothing official about the guide and it is just that, a guide. you may follow it or not as you please.
if you do not think the black market serves a purpose any longer, the bmvg (black market vote guide) is not the place to pursue that stance. the devs would love to hear from you and you can take that matter up with them.
lodging protest votes for any reason is also perfectly acceptable. advertising those in the bmvg is not, due to the fact that it is meant to be a community building experience. the bmvg is not here to tell you how to vote. it is here simply for those wanting to contribute to the community in one of the few ways we have to do so.
please do not bump the bmvg too often! i feel that once a day is sufficient. to be clear that is once a day by anyone, so if someone else has posted that today they voted for the item, that is the bump for the day. if you have any questions please cm Dudemus.
also, i really don't like the idea of of sending messages to people to get them to vote a certain way. the bmvg should be enough of a reminder and if people aren't voting they may have a reason.
