I just recently started a NCB. I was unsure whether to retire my old character with a 8 BA regenerate rate. I thought this way I would miss less BA in the beginning of my run. Before I retired my character, I was averaging around 2500 Exp per 8 fights per minion as a non clan member. Now with the character retired and an active clan member, I am averaging about 3700 EXP per minion with a 10 BA regeneration rate. Both times I fought the same people with same challenge bonus too. I am getting a 14% clan bonus but this is not adding up to me. Anyone know anything up with this?
I don't know why the rate would have gone up but I do know that you only lose the ba if you have a lower ba regen rate char active while you run an ncb.

Okay, since rate determines rewards, 10BA rewards should be 8/10ths the size of 8BA rewards. In addition to the, since your char is much smaller, and base rewards are partially based on PR, you receive smaller rewards. Then you factor in the NCB bonus you're now getting, add in a little bit of randomness, and it should be fine.
