Im not sure if this will work but today ive put up into auctions an EF and an robf well over priced. A short time there after those 2 tattoos were spawned by the autioneer. I now just seen a base IF in auctions after another player listed one.
its a small price to pay if we can skip the BM.

We once attempted to manipulate prices in the AH, by Tag Team listing and puchasing the same Katana for 1CBD, repeatidly. To see if we could bring down the price that Mr Chairman bidded at (among other things).
We were asked to stop doing it. ;)
I never said I was curbing the market to buy tattoos. I was stating my actions are causing tattoos to spawn. On top if you do your homework you'll see I haven't won any. This is not something that's just started its been going on for a while.
I am doing what I am in auctions because I want to sell my rares at a higher price. If the auctioneer wants to spawn the same item to compete with me. I do see that I'm breaking any rules in the game, its just your opinion.
No ones opinion around here makes changes. But I am making a discovery and shared it. I think that's a change from anything else people figured out and keep to themselves
I would contend that your discover is the result of a small data set.
We generate items using nothing more than "rand()".
