Dispel Magic (in New players)

How do I counter Dispel Magic? I thought I figured out the near perfect strategy, but then anyone with Dispel Magic kicks my butt

Rune of Solitude (RoS) is the only real counter (apart from not using spells enchantments yourself) and that can still be beat by a higher level of DM - this is a game of paper, scissors, stone where everything has a counter

At lower levels, it would be best to be more concern with making a strat that allows you to fight people way higher than you. This way you can fight people that give you good rewards.

However, this usually means you will also be really weak to some other type of strat. Once you have really high MPR, or you are satisfied with your growth and want to make the "perfect" strategy, change it into one that is very balanced. I.e. use magic damage, physical damage, and a host of other things to keep people from beating you.

I have spent a lot of time theory crafting the "perfect" strategy but it is difficult to counter everything and still beat people ;).
