Chinese Translation / Antique Info (in Off-topic)

A family member is cleaning out a belated relative's house and asked me if I can get any additional info on this piece. I figured a few of you guys (lurkers, come out and help!) can give a rough translation. What does this say, anything useful?
And if any of you know much about antique porcelain and glassware, boy have I got a project for you. ; )

It just means manufactured in china.

That's what I was afraid of. I tried running "made in China" into Google Translate, but the symbols didn't match. I just tried again using "manufactured in China" and a large chunk lined up exactly. I was really hoping for some type of maker info. Thanks for your help.

And thanks for the link, Bast. I sent it over to the family member who's dealing with a ton of this stuff. Some of it's common, but some of it's worth a lot of money, and it all looks the same to me.
