Physical Attacks (in General)

So, when I use to play back in the day I was horrible at melee chars. But I want to give it a shot again. Been acquiring gear and thinking of strategy (most likely will fail haha)

So, question is: Can I seriously rely on a ToA for my strength and dex? Guide said You could but it could be outdated.

I'm gonna have an enchanter running eventually ethereal chains if that makes a difference. Also will probably wear an AoI and Dbs if that makes a difference to the answer too.

Depends on who you are gunning for. For mages, ToA will easily give you enough STR and DEX but if you want to kill other single minion DEX teams then you may have to train some.

EC will probably be a waste, probably better to go with AMF, esp if you plan on training all your exp into HP since you seem to want to let the ToA handle DEX and STR.

Lastly, I hope you plan on using a bow.

Be sure to tailor your strategy towards certain types of characters. Unless you have the money and time to invest in a crazy all-around character, you won't win against everyone.

In example, my character is well geared for defeating single FB mages and does so very well, while it does horrible against Rune of Solitude characters. Of course, you can start tailoring your strategy as you start trying to beat out other characters.

I actually have a sling of death if that counts as a box lol

SoD is fine but it will mean your strat will be geared to beating 4 minion teams. So it might be better to train DM on your enchanter rather than AMF or EC
