It looks like a scare/hype news site that takes real stories to extremes.

On the entertaining side, their home page's "viral" story is about a Dutch reality TV show to colonize mars.

As for revoking your citizenship, why would anyone do that? At least, in theory, they would have some protection by being a citizen. Plus being a citizen or not won't stop NSA's collection x]
