Recently Google Wallet has been done over - instead of being a purely NFC based payment system that is restricted to only certain androids it is now available on all androids, iPhones, and from the web.
This new iteration allows you to add credit cards and bank accounts and in turn allows the transfer of money between users. In light of some of PayPal's short comings, particularly the freezing of assets without reason, do any of you see this replacing Paypal?
The only limitation I see is Google's tendency to offer services in the US only.
Google wallet might be ideal for kickstarter groups and the indie groups. But for me without a credit card I can't see myself using gwallet. PayPal lets me use my bank account easy enough plus I guess being Canadian won't help if services for an international company that has this service within the US only. Imo PayPal has no right to take these actions. They has no need to know, I understand that maybe their customer base has complained about being "scammed" in one way or another. PayPal is not a regulator and should be or has any investment in those indie groups from what I see.

I did see that and hopefully it is well used. It should be considering the number of customers Amazon has.
Yes that's is true. I don't have an Amazon account to check out whether it will operate domestically or internationally. Hopefully the ladder and it will help options for kickstarters, right now I believe there is indigogo?

I'm pretty sure it works in whichever country Amazon is available in so it should be available in a number countries.
Indigogo has had amazon payments for a bit now; I wish kickstarter would use them as well.
