Strat question. (in General)

I've just unlearned AS for 1 million exp.

Here is my question; Should I train an ED with that exp and, if yes, wich one should I train?

Also, I think Spellboosters would be the best on my minion, So I would look foward buying one. Unless you think Displacement boots are better.

Thank you for your advices.

i would get rid of PL and just use GA/DM

its a helluva killer combo

Agree with Tal. I might also train Armor Proficiency as it only requires 960 exp and it is fully effective (Evasion is a possibility too, but it's up to you.)

If you go with Evasion, then I would do Displacement Boots, but that seems to not be as effective these days. I would do mage/enchanter gear (spellboosters, alatars gloves, corn, shield of capacity, amulet of junction and your familiar.) You could sub noldorin spellcasters for the alatars and a helm of clearsight for the corn...up to you.

I too agree with this. Additionally, I would go with a Fire Familiar or Steel Familiar over your current Ice Familiar.

As for Evasion vs DBs I would go with DBs since trained evasion is usually only viable if you are training Dexterity as well.

Is it because PL does not work with GA?

For the Familiar, I know FF or SF are better choices but I've always had something for CoC.

If you would like to stick with the IF I would keep the HP and PL on the minion and consider switching from DM to AMF to help combat the Decay you will see in melee rounds.

This is low priority but the SoC would be slightly more beneficial than the buckler you currently have.

Hmmmm, this is getting interesting.... How about this;

I recruit a new minion, train only HP on him with maybe a little bit of evasion/dex. Build him with a MageShield/ElvenHauberk combo ( too poor for a TSA ).

Make him first or last minion, not sure what is the most effective. Probably last to block MM... Or put him first with leadership and train Decay on my original Minion so my Familiar gets protected in the middle?

Unlearn PL on my original minion and train DM/GA/HP.

Not a bad idea. that 2 minion combo is very effective. If you train your PL high enough (and have a relatively high AC) then put it in the front, if it is just basically an anti-mage wall then put it in the back.

Consider the costs of a decay mage...they are very good but can be very bad if used incorrectly.
