Carnage Blender (in General)

Hello everyone, this is my 8th year playing carnage blender and I have just now validated my email address for the soul purpose of making this post.

I've been worried about this game for a long time, and have heard rumors that it is dieing... and personally I would like to say its making a slight return? I always watch the Fight Feed to see how many people are playing while I play, and I always see people at 5m+ PR, but I've been seeing lower and lower numbers all the way down to < 100k PR lately.

Are more and more old players coming back? Are there still active admins? Is CB still receiving income to pay for the server? I just wanted to get some feedback from everyone else in the community here, because I HAVE noticed more activity in the forums lately.. is the chatbox ever going to return? can an admin imbed a free cheap-o one for us? I doubt more then 10 people are online at a time, but I miss the old days when the chatbox was here..

go into java control panel and add an exception for http://www.carnageblender.com

that will let chat work, not many people use it though, we need a certification for java to run on its own

the server was just moved to a less expensive data center so we can keep running longer

i don't know if anyone is buying supporterships or special items or namings but that is the only way for the server to pay for itself

oh and yes there are some active admins

The economy isnt turning which I think will be the real indicator of the game making a come back. However, there has been a pretty good increase of new players coming in and sticking around and some old players coming back!

speaking of economy, I wish Central Bank would flood the AH with some items he's bought... or the rare AH spawn rate getting increased would be nice... maybe a halloween event?

That would only make the economy worse. Rares need to be taken out/reduced to increase price, cash amount transactions, etc.
