What sort of shield for a solo mage? (in General)

Can't decide if I should use a mithril shield or shield of capacity for my solo mage.

A mithril shield will give you damage resistance to Guardian Angel, physical, and magic damage as well as the RoBF.

The SoC is only really viable if you are using it by taking advantage of its secondary effect.
