I just noticed that Jonathan stopped by on December 29th, 2014. It must have been a slow day at both DataStax and Apache Cassandra. :-)

I'm still waiting hopefully for the day where CB can make a resurgence. I KNOW there are people out there that would enjoy this game. There still is the bones of a tight-knit community here. One thing we definitely have right now is a base of users (probably 20-30) who are extremely loyal and would probably assist the admins in revitalizing this site if a concerted effort was made; I can count myself among them. I stopped playing years ago but the community has drawn me back again and again and although CB is closer to death than it has ever been, it's not dead yet.

I'm sure some of us would pick up the hosting costs to keep it alive forever if needed.

It would be a fun mobile game, with pretty simple effects on the fight button like swiping your finger for a sword slash, tapping for a spell effect, etc.

Why I stopped bothering. Once you kill off your chances of growth, you have killed off any hope of renewal.

I just logged off and checked, the create new account page seems to be still there...
Haven't filled in new user data, so check not complete, but still, there's no warning signups might be forbidden.
