Multiple Accounts (in General)

I'm not really for the idea or against it, but I was thinking.

Would allowing people multiple accounts be a bad thing? I figure anything to increase the number of people playing would be good, even if it is just the same 20 people over 100 accounts.

Maybe just have people keep a Forum post active saying which accounts were theirs. Perhaps force people to use the same name, but with a number after it?

Just curious what people's opinion on this sort of thing was like at this point, especially after the, "Everyone can do a NUB thing, but have to delete their account."

After all, removing active characters from the boards is probably the last thing we really want to do.

Something similar to this is now allowed, but due to some kind of weird proxy error no one is actually able to do it.

why cant we just create NUB characters with the accounts we already have?

That would be amazing. No multis, easily tracked, but a bit of freedom in what we do.
